I was not sure if this could be reproduced with a laser but it is one of the finest optical illusions of all time. Perhaps hard to see the letters but the two squares marked A & B are exactly the same shade of grey.

By way of an update...

I have just been told that the Auggie software revision 1.102 now allows a PWM Pulse Repetition Rate down to a minimum of 10Hz. Looks like extremely good news for my use with an impact electromagnet.

tweakie, I couldn't believe my own eyes, this picture is really tricky.
I cut out the colors and aligned them beside each other. They are really the same smile

Conclusion: nice shades can be created by Your machine.

This is just a scrap piece of ply which has been painted white. Interesting that this paint has just two tones (plus the base white). Does all white paint have just two tones I wonder ?
